Turning 30

As time goes by, 2010 has come, and I am turning 30. There is an old saying: At 30, man plant his feet firm upon the ground. That means when a man reaches his 30, he should know how to do with his life.

Am I ready? Let’s take a look, I have the heart to accomplish anything, and am interested in serious work, why? Because I am self-possessed, determined, and a little bit mean. If I was in USA, I definitely gonna fight for a job in CIA or FBI. But I am not, I am in China, CIA’s counterpart is National Security Department in here, and since I am not a member of the Communist Party, and hadn’t graduated from China’s Ivy League, no way I can join it. So where does that leave me? Give up? I don’t want to.

Another big thought, I wanna be a part of the politics, any part will be fine, even up for a poll inquirer. Many folks maybe have lost their faith in politics nowadays, but I believe, there is no bad or good politics, it turned out wrong or right just because the men who using it are different. And I still think it’s the very way can turn things around, make our future brighter. Anyone should have a decent chance in their life, that’s my goal.

As for love, I don’t expect much, I got what I deserved, which is, nowhere. Sadly, maybe, I usually don’t give it too many thoughts. But things happen, who knows, if everything went out all right this year, maybe I should start a family, settle down, at least give it a try.

Compares with the previous birthday’s Ambitious Speech, this one seems like a New Year’s Plan. Although I don’t know exactly how to realize them, I’d like to keep them in mind, motivating me to do something toward them.

So, happy birthday, and, good luck.
